In this new report from The Baring Foundation, experts and practitioners with personal and professional experience of this field explored the challenges and barriers to access to the arts for people with mental health problems from ethnically diverse backgrounds.


The Red Earth Collective's Co-Founder, Sandra Griffiths shared her thoughts on why the arts matter. Sandra reflected on the importance of access and visibility of underrepresented communities, as well as the urgency to continue conversations around the stigmatisation associated with mental health. Furthermore, the integral need for arts and creativity in mental health work.
