Come and join us at or Autumn Equinox Festival for a day of music, food, discussion and workshops celebrating nature, wellbeing, creativity the land and the harvest.
After the success of our Summer Solstice Festival we have teamed up with our great friends With
Nature in Mind for another fantastic day at Uplands Allotments. We will have stalls selling fresh
produce and plants straight from the allotments, foraging walks, craft workshops, live music and
entertainment and fun for all the family.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome. We start at 12.00pm and go till 6.00pm
The part that caught my attention was the way the Autumn Equinox Festival brings together things that do not always appear in the same event—fresh produce and plants from the allotments, foraging walks, craft workshops, live music, food, and discussions about nature and wellbeing—because it makes the allotment feel like much more than a place for growing vegetables. I especially like the detail that the event is free and open to everyone, since that changes the atmosphere from something that feels like a specialist gardening gathering into a more informal community day where families, curious visitors, growers, and people who simply enjoy being outdoors can all take part without needing a particular background or interest. The connection with the autumn…
This sounds like such a wholesome and community-driven event, especially with the mix of music, workshops, and hands-on activities like foraging and crafts all centred around the allotment space. It really captures the spirit of the autumn equinox too, which is often about balance, harvest, and reflecting on what’s been grown over the year . The fact that it’s free and open to everyone makes it feel even more inclusive and accessible, which is great to see. Events like this seem to bring people closer to nature in a practical way, not just in theory. I came across rapid assignment help while reading similar topics, and it can also be explored via assignment services for related study ideas.
